Register for Free Online Counselling

Thank you for your interest in online counselling, this is your first step towards connecting with us.

After your registration is received, the director of the service (clinical psychologist Jonathon Walker) will send you a confirmation email and request your availability for counselling sessions.

Registration with our service provides the following benefits:

Confidentiality

All issues discussed in therapy are classified as strictly confidential. Only in very rare circumstances is a counsellor mandated (by law) to break confidentiality. These circumstances can occur if a counsellor is subpoenaed by a court, or if a client is at high risk of harming themselves or others.

Free Online Counselling

All online counselling sessions are free (but limited to one session per week). You can withdraw from counselling or suspend your therapy appointments at any time.

We're here to help

All our counsellors are registered provisional psychologists with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and work under the supervision of senior clinical psychologist, Jonathon Walker.

Please note, this service is not appropriate for people who are feeling suicidal. If you have thoughts of harming yourself then please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 immediately.

2017 Update: With regret our free service is delayed due to difficulties gaining Psychology Board approval for our interns to complete their client contact hours online. In the meantime, if you live in Melbourne please contact clinical psychologist Jonathon Walker for bulk billed (no fee) assistance.
